The Clarendon Guesthouse & Theatre Starting out as a bed and breakfast in the 1920's the Clarendon has branched out and for almost 30 years has been a live music & performance venue. With its warm log fires burning in winter and the temperate summer days up in Katoomba, the Clarendon always has something to offer either tourist or music lover. The cocktail bar is a great place to meet friends before a show or just to pop in for a drink anytime. The Clarendon has hosted some huge international guests over the years and many new & exciting up and coming artists. In March each year it is the 'hub' of the Blue Mountains Folk Festival where artists from around the world gather to entertain the many people who arrive for great music and entertainment. If music is not your scene, then bush walking or sight seeing may be what you are after. The Clarendon is smack bang in the middle of all tourist attractions throughout Katoomba, with a bus station directly out front, you can very easily see all you need to see. The Clarendon also hosts other events such as conferences, wedding receptions, birthdays, awards ceremonies, etc. |
